But his mother sings the song very well and is also a good player of tabla. His Father works in LIC(LIFE INSURANCE CORPORATION). Many family members of Arijit Singh belong to nautical many are involved in music such as maternal mother (Nani), aunt(maami), aunt (mausi), and many members. In 2005, he participate a reality show in Mumbai leaving his city jiaganj. This reality show was cast on Sony TV and is named 'fame gurukul'.
